The other day, I watched a few minutes worth of an animal rescue show on either Animal Planet of discover. A few minutes is all I needed. It made me feel sick and sad.
They had rescued this cute dog with a playful spirit and a giant wound. The dog underwent surgery and pulled through.
For a moment, I felt happy. But it was short lived.
They said about a week later, the dog attacked one of the staff because of all he had been through, so they had to put him under.
What?
How do people justify being so cruel to animals. This dog was so fun, adorable, and spunky. :( He had such potential to be a good pet, but suffered psychological damage because their former owner was such a loser.
If you want to help do something about it, why not volunteer at the humane society, or make a donation?
